Our path

Our story

Shasama Fermeture did not start with a business plan. It started in a workshop, where our team first learned three separate trades: electrical work, metalwork and locksmithing.

For years we worked for other people. Subcontracting for major closure manufacturers, you pick neither the job nor the client: you turn up, you fix it, you leave. It is a hard and effective apprenticeship — it teaches the right movements, the parts that genuinely fail, and the shortcuts that come back to haunt an installation six months later.

Adding those three specialities together, we realised we covered the whole of a motorised closure: the metal structure, the motor and its wiring, the lock and the closing point. Where three trades usually turn up one after another, a single team was enough. Shasama Fermeture is the name we gave that team.

Today the company installs, automates, repairs and services metal shutters, sectional and up-and-over doors, roller shutters, gates and awnings — in steel, aluminium and PVC — for shops, industrial sites and demanding homeowners. Emergency call-out runs 24/7, because a storefront that no longer closes cannot wait until Monday morning.

The rest comes down to a few things: a written quote before the work, one point of contact from diagnosis to handover, and response times we hold — 20 minutes across Paris and Île-de-France.

Our fundamentals

Our working rules

Six principles we apply on every job, from the first phone call to handover.

A written quote before every job

Nothing starts without a dated document listing parts, labour and lead time. You approve it, or you don't.

Three trades in the same team

Electrical work, metalwork, locksmithing. A housing to re-weld, a motor to rewire and a cylinder to change are handled in the same visit, with no need to coordinate three contractors.

Repair before replacing

When the barrel and guide rails are sound, we change the failed part. Replacing a whole closure is sometimes necessary — never the reflex.

The diagnosis happens on site

No firm price over the phone for a closure nobody has seen. The technician measures, opens the housing, tests the motor, then quotes.

Parts and materials named

Steel, aluminium or PVC, motor brand, lock rating: whatever gets fitted at your place is named on the quote, not described as "standard".

2-year guarantee, scope in writing

Our installations carry a 2-year guarantee. What the guarantee covers — and what it does not — is set down in black and white.

Our trade

In practice, what do we do?

Six interventions covering the full life of a closure: from a new installation to a Saturday-night emergency.

We fix breakdowns

Jammed shutter, derailed slat, forced lock: we restore opening and closing as an emergency, then secure the access before leaving.

We repair

Buckled slats, a bent barrel, twisted guide rails, a dead motor: we replace the failed part while the structure still allows it.

We automate

Manual to electric conversion, motor replacement, remotes and automation — on the market's leading brands.

We service

Greasing, limit-switch adjustment, slat and barrel checks: a service visit costs less than a Saturday-night call-out.

We secure

Non-destructive opening, cylinder replacement, locks certified to A2P 1 to 3 stars (CNPP) and door reinforcement.

Our team

The team on the ground

Our technicians work in pairs, with equipped vehicles carrying the common parts on board — slats, guide rails, motors, cylinders. They cover Paris and Île-de-France, on a rota that stops neither at weekends nor on public holidays.

  • Equipped pairs: slats, guide rails, motors and common cylinders on board
  • Ongoing training on the automation systems of the market's leading brands
  • One point of contact, from diagnosis to handover
  • 24/7 rota, weekends and public holidays included

Contact us

A team that brings together three complementary trades: electrical work, metalwork and locksmithing. It is that combination that lets a single team handle a closure end to end, from the housing to the motor to the cylinder.

Our base is in Paris 11e. From there our teams cover Paris and the whole of Île-de-France (75, 77, 78, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95).

Directly. We learned the trade as subcontractors for major manufacturers, then went independent: the technician who makes the diagnosis is the one who carries out the work, and you have a single point of contact from quote to handover.

Our installations are covered by a 2-year guarantee. The written quote handed over before the work details the parts, the labour and the exact scope of that guarantee.

A call, an on-site diagnosis, then a written quote you approve before we start. In an emergency we secure the access first — a jammed shutter, a storefront to close back up — and the permanent repair is scheduled afterwards.
