Two configurations, one need
The type of shutter depends mainly on the building. An external box can often equip an opening with no existing housing. A traditional shutter fits into a box that is already present or planned in the masonry.

A renovation roller shutter combines the box, curtain and guide rails in one unit fitted in front of the window or within the opening. It is suitable when there is no appropriate box in the masonry.
